Head of Development

HolistiCyber is looking for an End-2-End hands-on Development Leader capable of developing a web application powered by advanced ML (AI) capabilities. The successful candidate is a strong, passionate leader and team player for a fun, professional, and fast-growing company to lead our new and disruptive cyber-SaaS product.

We are working with Agile, CI/CD (microservices), and the development leader will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle – including design, architecture, development, testing, implementation, and support.

  • Master/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Experienced team leader of at least 5 years
  • Architecture capabilities: able to design and implement a SaaS cloud system (AWS) with advanced integrations to other products
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes ) and hands-on experience designing and creating microservices using best practices
  • Knowledge of Functional Programming – understanding End-2-End systems including: QA testing, DevOps, CI/CD, and customer care.
  • Backend expertise and technical leadership using JavaScript
  • Frontend expertise using React/Redux, Knowledge of CSS preprocessor (Less, Sass, etc…), and experience with web technologies like node.js
  • Knowledge and experience with no-SQL DB – preferable in graph-DB (neo4j)
  • Have a research mind-set to investigate complex technical challenges and help grow intellectual property assets.

  • Advantage – understanding the Cybersecurity domain and industry
  • Most important: hands-on, write code themselves and enjoy it.

Application Penetration Tester

HolistiCyber, a cybersecurity US-Israel based consulting firm is looking for a mid-level application penetration tester to join the professional services team. The tester will conduct various penetration test on applications of selected, international and global, customers. The tester is expected to be self-motivated, independent and result driven individual.

As an application penetration tester, you will perform authorized penetration tests on computer systems and application in order to identify and validate vulnerabilities and weaknesses in their security that could be exploited. Generally, we are looking for testers who are flexible and wide with their testing capabilities and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Network and infrastructures
  • Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems
  • Web/Mobile applications
  • APIs and Web Services, etc.

All work will be conducted in English (including the reports that would be crafted by the tester).

The Position is opened to Israeli located workforce only, relevant IDF professional experience will be considered as an advantage. Though the majority of the work will be performed in Israel’s conventional working hours, during Israel’s working days (observing the Hebrew calendar holidays), the work requires flexibility to participate in meeting according to the US East coast time zone (ET).


  • Work with clients to determine their requirements from the test, for example the number and type of systems they would like testing
  • Plan the tests, create supporting tools, scripts
  • Carry out remote or on-site testing of the application and infrastructure according to the scope of work
  • Create reports and recommendations based on the findings, risk rating etc.
  • As well as identifying problems, you may also provide advice on how to minimize risks and provide advice on methods to fix or lower security risks to systems
  • As needed – participate in debrief sessions to present your findings, risk and conclusions to relevant parties
  • 3 years or more in similar position conducting similar penetration testing

Penetration Testing Project Manger

HolistiCyber is looking for a Penetration testing project manager to join our highly professional cyber team

Location: Israel, remote

Working days: Monday-Friday


  • Coordinate with internal Customer  business units to understand:
    • Who needs to be involved in scoping
    • What the scope is
    • What Prerequisites are in place
    • Findings  to be remediated
  • Coordinate with external Penetration testing providers  to
    • Arrange scoping
    • Signoff commercially
    • Attend daily update calls
    •  Solve roadblocks
    • Review  deliverables

  • Familiar with common industry best practice standards, frameworks and testing methodologies
